During the last republic general assembly meeting in September, the top order of business was to swear-in our new Acting Governor, Deborah Ringchop. This was done (effective 8/31/2011) and her dedication and hard work on behalf of the republic is much appreciated. The next order of business was to clarify and create the constitutional means by which the next Governor will be elected. After some discussion and debate, these structures were decided upon and will be implemented directly. The 'Writ of Election' will be released soon and timelines and methods for nominations and voting will be included in those communications. Stay tuned for more information on the election soon.

Our republic is moving forward on solid ground thanks to all our collective efforts. Keep the faith and stay strong in the knowledge that we are re-buliding the "new" republic for our country, and that this renewed structure will serve the highest good of all.
